2018 Coaching Positions

. Youth Information

Preparations for season 2018 are now starting to ramp up and we are taking applications for Head Coaches for our academy teams from aged Under 9 – Under 16 – This includes the Under 9 SAP which will be run as part of the NPL Licensing.

We envisage holding trials in the above mentioned age groups in early October to identify talented players and get them into an environment where we are producing quality players to our seniors NPL Youth teams and potential Emerging Jets selections from Under 12’s.

We are proposing to have one ‘academy’ team per above age group which will train a mandatory three nights a week & look to play games against opposition from outside our area (via trial games and tournaments), therefore exposing our players to different styles of football and giving the players who were identified as exceptionally talented the chance to be able to progress their football to the next level – This will require exceptional commitment & dedication for this to work and for your child to excel in football.

Technical Director, Neil Orr will oversee the program and ensure that quality coaching is being provided to each team, giving our players their best chance to succeed.

If you are interested in coaching young footballers aged 9 – 16 with a view of potentially coaching NPL in the coming years, we encourage all coaches to get in contact with us via the below email address or via our website (www.magicyouthfc.com.au/contact-us/) to be supplied with an application form.

These are due back by Tuesday 1st August 2017

If there are any questions or concerns regarding this, please get in touch with the club via the above link

Northern NSW NPL Update

. NPL Information

As our senior club Broadmeadow Magic head into the last third of the season, now is a good time to have a look at where all the NPL teams are sitting with finals just around the corner.

The youth grades are doing very well with two teams sitting in first position after thirteen games and the other two sitting in fourth.

A slow start in the senior grades for the 18’s and first grade have hampered their chances of finals but the first graders have turned their performances around in recent weeks, beware of the sleeping giant!

13NPL – 4th
14NPL – 1st
15NPL – 1st
16NPL – 4th
18NPL – 7th
20NPL – 4th
NPL – 6th

Good luck for the rest of the season guys, you have our support!
